Bevel started as an application created initially because the family of the founder lost all of their assets in the
Los Angeles wild fires.
To compensate the founder created an app which the user can take photos of their furniture, upload them, then get an estimate on what the cost would be. The user can then make an insurance claim and easily give a proper estimate.
Bevel's current identity system seemed visually generic and the website had some elements which were detrimental to the users journey.
As the Bevel brand continues to develop an update to their visual identity seemed appropriate. We decided to improve the distinction of the brands visual Identity by creating a mark that is literal yet unmissable as well as a new bespoke logotype to compliment the mark giving it a more stronger, distinguishable appearance. We also made subtle changes to their current marketing collateral. Specifically the UI elements of their website which will help the user's journey.
We also created an animated logo intro/outro for the brand to further tie in the new logo with the purpose of the application. We wanted to make sure the brand stayed true to its name and represented what the brand stands for so we took a literal approach with this logo animation.
