What Most Startup/SMBs Brands Miss Out On
(Visual Branding)
Lately I've been conducting rounds of brand audits for startups and SMBs and I've noticed a pattern within most of the businesses I've audited. They have a lack of consistency within their visual
brand identity.

A palette which doesn't stand out enough, visual elements which poorly represent their mission or product/service. If a business were to look into these aspects of their visual identity and actively find solutions than there could be a significant amount of change in how their customer base views their brand as a whole. The more inconsistent the visual messaging, the more generic the brand looks.

My Take on Social Media
Decentralization in my opinion is a better option than having your client/customer base go through the same interactions/experiences on your various social media pages.

I feel we should have our own agencies in mind, cultivating a community which sticks with you and your brand, not a social media page that is being ran by some billionaire implementing general quality of life changes to their app whenever they feel like it. 

We should aspire to branch away from the typical social media experience and form fresh new unique ones for our clients, customers, and friends.

To me it seems like most people aren't happy with the way these applications are ran and I'm not saying completely do away with social media sites, just get others to follow your brand outside of them. Basically not rely on them and bring focus back to your brand instead.
